well I'm off to the world of pizza and gelato in about 19 min. First thoughts tonight were that I would head to bed around 10 considering we're leaving at 5am, but then realized it's me and that's scientifically impossible.
Second option... all nighter. (I'm not sure why it's extremes with me but just seemed like the logical step that if I don't get lots of sleep then should just not get any)
All nighters always bring forth a wave of memories from my old uni days (23 just feels so old!).... and give me this satisfaction of sort of cheating death. ok, I'll explain... sleep is something we all need/require/would die if we didn't have. Therefore by my lack of it, I'm actually showing my wimpy body who's boss! well that's the idea anyway...
once I stayed up for 62 hours stright...I wouldn't recomment it to anyone. I did it as a bet almost just to say that I had, like skydiving or eating marmite, (the last being on an equal plane with licking a burning candle.)
Most of my all nighters end up being rather lame, however, with me running/driving/jumping around in order to stay awake or just finishing up work for school that I had known about for 8 weeks but only the last 24 hours seemed logical to finish it.
...OR just sitting in my chair staring at nothing...hoping that it's 4am so I can get ready to go grab a flight to a warmer land.
anyway...hope you all reading have a lovely christmas and boxing day!
