my car. Sadly Alex is no longer a part of my life as I sold her before coming here. This shot was taken during some of our last precious moments together....although I do look forward to the day when I will have a car that actually keeps rain OUTSIDE the vehicle.
(also guess just generally miss the act of driving itself..and books on tape. seriously so theraputic)

jif creamy peanut butter. I just got a package from my folks which contained mmmm peanut butter. When I'm at home I literally put it on EVERYTHING and as I've told you guys here multiple times...Brits pb is NAStay.
Clean Sweep. a program I used to watch between classes last year. They find these obsessive hoarders and make them trash 99% of their stuff in a few rooms. It's fabulous. Three cheers to Andy who's letting me clean sweep his room this week. ah tension relief.
watching football. American. Nothing like it. Oh to be able to again waste my saturday afternoon on the couch watching college ball.
pad thai from phan shin. nothing this side of the atlantic's come close so far. I'm still not sure what it is about it that makes it so amazing, but getting some $6.50 take away will for sure be first priority the next time I'm in O town.

hugs. This one is BIG and calls for an ode to the days of 105 Ox Commons and senior year. Sometimes I just really miss those days of physical contact.
my dog. Her name is Luxie, short for Luxembourg (you know, like the country) and she's a Weimaraner. important pros...she has webbed feet, her ears feel like velvet and every morning she has to take a pill (for her lock jaw) disguised by my fav peanut butter on a dog biscuit.

It's a terrible slander on British peanut butter, which in it's Asda form is frankly delicious.
And thanks for the room offer, you know I'm going to take you up on that.
And it's a cool dog.
HA I love TLC shows! I caught Clean Sweep once in a while, but my FAV was What Not To Wear and Trading Spaces :)
and on the hugs front, just start forcing them on people, and they will eventually love to start actually participating....I mean, we converted Nate! HAHA
DEFINITELY with ya on the football thing.....(except I am an NFL gal) I am trying to keep up as much as possible, we MUST see the Super Bowl this year, it will mean no sleep for me, but I HAVE to see it!
Ok, KC, just a coupla things...
Peanut butter is the foulest incarnation of ANY substance anywhere in the world ever.
Football is played with a round ball all over the world...I think the version you are referring to is more aptly named THROWY BALL.
And finally how in the world do young people in America afford such stinkin' great cars?!
KC...I love your dog Luxie. I have always been a fan of weimaraners. You should dedicate a whole post just for her.
But is that a shock-collar on her neck? You, who was such the animal activist when I decided to release my fish into the safe and protective fish pond across from my house...
Shame...hahaha
it's true. we def have an electric dog fence, for protective measures of course.
but actually... the truth is....she's *shocker* not my only dog.
we actually have another dog, Meggie, who lives outside, smells awful, sheds terribly, is incredibly fat and generally unloved by all.
sometimes I think my family's just waiting for her to die.
you people make me sick
YOU HAVE NEVER SPOKEN OF MEGGIE.
THAT IS TERRIBLE!!!!!
I echo Brit.
Ship her over here so she can live in a REAL country.
Though the whole Meggie thing even further discredits your role as an animal activist in regards to my fish, I understand how a dog like that can be neglected, we had a similar dog named Bud that eventually went to "doggie heaven" fortunately enough. My heart went out to him, but he smelled soooo bad and was certainly not the most attractive looking mutt... He was hard to be around. But I am sure Meggie is loved from a distance...
