do you ever think that you're really good at something until you actually try it and then realize how rubbish your feable atempt actually is?

happens to me all the time considering I pretend I'm a super hero in disguise. calmly living out my clark kent identity, waiting precariously until the day I'm needed to save the world.

good thing I'm learning this year that I am in fact mortal. Like today. I bought some paint and attempted a calming forest scene with a pathway running across it. Granted you can tell there are some trees dotting the landscape but the picture is nothing like the Van Gogh in my mind.

or yesterday, made food for all my friends and was going for this amazing dinner with everything perfectly put together and the kitchen completely tidy at the end. but have yet to make a martha stewartish meal. (although I AM really glad she's out of prison)

and have finally concluded that if I dart in front of a car one more time at the intersection of smithdown place, I will most likely get hit "meet joe black" style.

so there you have it ladies and gentleman. I'm no superman.

but you are only now coming into your powers as the mighty superhero.....you have to adjust to your many talents and once they are fully mature, you will be able to do amazing feats of strength as well as cooking ;)

I think we all wear at least a small "s" on our chest in Christ, so, you can be a Superhero in my book. And, you never know about paintings because after looking a paintings by Picaso, I am sure he probably felt the same way and look at his results. Also, I would really be suprised if anyone has EVER made a meal that looks as good as those Martha Stewart fakes on TV. You have seen how good they make people look on TV, I can only imagine what they can do with food.

But keep in mind that the "s" only goes so far, so don't go try to fly off a cliff or stop the car in the cross walk with shear strength...go ahead and jump out of the way, you might feel better...haha

KC, the meal you made was delicious and it was a real honour an a pleasure to be able to join y'all in eating it. Marvellous.

We are all but only human and are thus limited in what we can do, but you lass are one of the most driven and inspiring people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

So there you go.
