The inefficiency of the British postal service...

I have been waiting for a package from my sister sent circa December 26th. This on edge waiting is not new for me considering last week I received a package from my parents sent November 7th which contained trays to be used at Thanksgiving. Granted, it was accidentally sent by barge but still...

I blame bank holidays

Of course the essential test will be whether the package I sent for Steph gets to America before the one that's coming to you. The British Postal system has a venerable tradition of mediocore services, and that's the way we like it.

What if these packages are actually only in the UK for a few days, and in reality it is the US Postal Service that is infact useless?

That's fast for barge mail!

A package sent by barge to Italy wouldn't have made it till february!

I wouldn't blame the bank holidays, blame the weird ones that aren't....I mean ARBOR DAY? That's gotta confuse somebody....HA

Lucky...!
We have packages sent in October that still have not arrived. We will probably end up wearing our witch and gobblin costumes at mid-year provided that another MONTH is adequate time for them to deliver our package here in Italy...

*GINORMOUS NEWS FLASH*

As of today, Jan 8th, we have discovered that packages sent more than a month ago from Florida have arrived in Italy! KC, just feel lucky that your "delivery notice" isn't in Italian and you know what you are actually supposed to do to retrieve said package.....
